Well our little lady is a week old already. I can't believe it! We took her to the doctor yesterday for her newborn visit and she was 7lb 4oz so she is just a half ounce shy of her birth weight. He said she looks excellent and we go back in two months. She has her nights and days a bit backwards still but we are working on that. It is hard to try and keep a newborn awake during the day! She is laid back and only cries when she is hungry. Her most alert time right now is about midnight to 1:30 am. Chris has been back at work since Tuesday so I have tried to keep her out of the bedroom when she does wake so we don't bother him. But I really just want some sleep. I ended up falling asleep on the couch the other night with her and she gave me a four hour stretch! However I wasn't a co-sleeper with Riley and I have no desire to start the habit with her so I guess I am stuck at about hour and a half stretches for now.
Riley is amazing with her. We haven't had any jealousy out of him yet. He loves on her and tries to share hotwheels with her. She responds really great to him too. She can be fussy and he will start talking to her and she will quiet down and just stare at him. I am enjoying it now as I am sure these days won't last as they get older. ;) Chris hates this picture. I love it. It was in the hospital the day after she was born when they were doing her pictures. I snapped one with our camera.

Me and both my babies.

Oh and can I just brag and say I have lost all the baby weight already PLUS four pounds! Woot! I am off to get these kids in bed.
